BLACK BEAN BURGERS
INGREDIENTS:
3 - 15 oz Cans Of Black Beans
2 Cups Frozen Corn
1 Flax Egg (1 tablespoon of Ground Flax + 3 tablespoons of Water)
1 Onion
1 Green Bell Pepper
1/2 cup Almond Meal
Spices:
1/2 tbsp of Garlic Powder
1 tsp Cumin
1 tbsp Salt
2 tbsp of Cayenne Pepper
2 tbsp of Dried Cilantro
Make the flax egg by combining 1 tablespoon of Ground Flax with 3 tablespoons of water.
Let it sit for about 5 min.
Rinse the black beans and let them dry for a bit. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, take a potato smasher and gently smash the beans with all the veggies together. I personally like to leave them chunky. Use a burger mold or your hands to make up to 9 burger patties. You can use a little paper to separate the burgers and store them in the freezer.
